David J. O’Malley

David J. O’Malley has in excess of twenty years experience as an investment banker, corporate development officer, and direct investment sponsor. Most recently, Mr. O’Malley was a Managing Director in the Health Care and Real Estate & Gaming investment banking groups at Legg Mason Wood Walker, Incorporated, where he raised in excess of $5 billion of public and private equity and debt capital for clients. He also provided strategic merger and acquisition advice on transactions totaling in excess of $1 billion.

Prior to Legg Mason, Mr. O’Malley served as Director of Corporate Development for Manor Care, Inc., a NYSE listed company. There he identified, negotiated, and acquired in excess of $250 million of health care related businesses. His investment banking and principal investing career began with Alex. Brown Realty, Inc, where he acquired, as a direct investment sponsor, in excess of $500 million of real estate assets and real estate related companies.

Mr. O’Malley serves on a number of civic and charitable boards and is a frequent speaker at industry conferences. He received his B.S. in Business Administration in 1980 from Babson College.


Jon D. Knight

Jon D. Knight has more than seven years of investment banking experience. Most recently, Mr. Knight was a co-founder of Belfield Capital Partners, a search fund focused on acquiring a lower middle market company.

Prior to founding Belfield, Mr. Knight was a Vice-President with the Legg Mason Wood Walker investment banking group. He began his investment banking experience in Legg Mason’s Real Estate group and was then recruited to become a member of the firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions group. He gained hands-on operating experience as Assistant to the President for Charlottesville Quality Cable, a Quad-C Management, Inc. portfolio company. In addition, he worked at Federal National Mortgage Association in the mortgage acquisition group.

Mr. Knight received his B.A. from Washington and Lee University and his M.B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis.


Horace Usry

Horace Usry has more than eighteen years experience in Capital Markets and real estate development. Most recently, Mr. Usry was Director of institutional Sales and Trading at Ferris, Baker Watts, where he raised in excess of $4 billion of equity and mezzanine capital for firms in the health care, real estate, financial services and business services industries.

Prior to Ferris, Baker Watts, he was a Partner at J. C. Bradford & Company. There he raised equity and convertible debt capital in excess of $2 billion for companies in the health care, real estate, telecommunications, financial services and business services industries. He primarily raised capital from institutions located in Europe including the United Kingdom.

Prior to J. C. Bradford & Company, Mr. Usry was a real estate developer with Trammell Crow Company in Memphis and Atlanta. He developed industrial and office space for Trammell Crow.

Mr. Usry serves on civic and charitable boards. He received a BA from Augusta College in 1985 and an MBA from Duke University in 1989.


Stuart M. Sutley

After graduating from the University of Virginia in 1987, Stuart completed a successful four-year-tour in the United States Marine Corps as an infantry officer culminating in a strategic battalion position during Operation Desert Storm. Following Desert Storm, he embarked on a five-year opportunity with consumer products giant Newell Corporation, holding positions ranging from production supervisor to product manager to national sales manager. While working for Newell, Stuart also earned his MBA from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio. In 1998, Stuart was recruited by Bank Boston Ventures to work with one of its portfolio companies, Langston Corporation, where he managed in excess of 500 employees and developed sales budgets in excess of $75MM.

A desire to make a difference with employees after his years of working in employee-related industries led Stuart to start Innovative Wellness Solutions (IWS). With a goal to add value to the lives of people and help companies better manage future health-related employee and dependent issues, IWS' customized platform treats each company and each participant as a unique situation, thus driving tangible results.


Susie Wittich

With a 15+ year career in non-profit development work for major organizations such as Washington College, Cabrini College and Living Classrooms Foundation, Susie has blended strong communication and interpersonal skills with the strategic focus that is necessary for successful program implementation and goal management. She greatly enjoyed the variety of tasks associated with development work, and was involved with everything from major gifts solicitations, grant writing, event planning and execution, public relations issues, marketing and external communications.

Passionate about the organizations for which she works, Susie sees wellness as key to managing successful lives and organizations. When her youngest son was diagnosed with asthma as an infant, wellness and health management became her primary focus. While there is no cure for asthma, careful management and a commitment to a healthy lifestyle, has significantly and positively impacted not only her son, but her entire family. Susie has seen first hand how a proactive commitment to wellness can affect the lives, and she welcomes the opportunity to help bring her business skills and her personal experience to your organization.
